New patent: Virtual worlds based on your workout ONLY with The Journey

We're not the only brand that offers virtual rides, but no one does it quite like we do. And this month, The Journey – or rather the algorithm behind it – officially became patented in the U.S. 

What really sets The Journey apart is the way visuals are generated. Every time you start a new workout, all assets are randomly generated anew based on the workout profile. The road that you travel, for example, reflects the intensity of the current interval. The road's incline (or lack thereof) reflects the RPM and your position on the bike. The ever-changing landscape guides you through your workout, making it incredibly immersive and simple to navigate.

With more than 10,000 x 10,000 possible variations, it's impossible to cover all aspects of how The Journey generates the world around you. Suffice to say, it makes for a unique experience, and the new software patent recognizes just that.
